The apartments and studios are situated in the house "El Patio", only a few minutes from the center of the small city. The lodgings are well equipped and there is a cleaning service once a week and change towels twice a wee (included in the price). The reception is surrounded by a group of seats, a small pool and many subtropical plants. A terrace offers a nice view over the typical landscape of the island. You will get easily to the center with its restaurants, bars and cafés by walk. There is a busstop 300m from the apartment.

In the morning you can have breakfast enjoying the mornin sun in one of the terraces and in the afternoon, from the other terrace you can watch spectacular sunsets. The little village of Tijarafe (the main economic activity of the village are banana plantations) is situated 1,5 km from the El Manso house. In Tijarafe you will find supermarkets, banks, bars, restaurants, take away food shops, medical center etc.

There are comfortable and well equipped and situated 5 minutes away from the village, where you can find restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc. Close to the houses grows the best and well known wine of the La Palma island, called Malvasía. The houses are located in the the volcanic zone of the island and you will enjoy the fantastic view to the volcanos San Antonio and Teneguía.In Fuencaliente you can visit the saltpans and the lighthouse (Faro in Spanish) and from there the beaches with black sand of "La Zamora". Another beautiful beach ist the "Echentive" and behind this beach are small lagoons. From the accommodation you will enjoy beautiful sunsets with view to the sea. The night sky of the La Palma is famous, because it is a clear sky and you can observe stars and constellations to the naked eye. And not to forget the cuisine, the delicious and typical dishes like frest fish, gofio (roasted maize or wheat), papas arrugadas (small potatoes), and mojo (piquant sauces) and the desserts (bienmesabe, príncipe Alberto, almendrados, queso de almendra, bollo centeno, etc)

Comments about La Palma
In La Palma, one of the smaller islands of the Canary Islands in the northwest of the Archipelago, reigns the tranquillity and the harmony. The National Park of the "la Caldera de Taburiente" and the forest "los Tilos" is one of the main attraction of La Palma and recognized and declared "Reserve of the Biosphere" by UNESCO. It is worth mentioning the climate of La Palma.. Although in direct neighbourhood to Africa La Palma possesses the most balanced climate in Europe. By the eternal trade winds just like by the cooled down gulf stream springful temperatures adjust, even in the summer.
Los LLanos de Aridane is situated in the sunny side of La Palma, in a beautiful and fertile plain. The modern city has several beaches like Puerto Naos, Las Monjas and Charco Verde, which are one of the main tourist attractions.
Fuencaliente de la Palma is a village with 1.800 inhabitants. It is situated on the southern tip of La Palma, in a territorio heavily marked by various historic volcanic eruption, the last one on the 26th of October 1971 from the Teneguia vent. It's one of the best winegrowing area of the Canary Islands and Banana plantation is the second agricultural production in this area. Los Quemados is an area filled with mountains and volcanoes, beaches and forests, tiny villages and breathtaking views.
